Keeping the nap pods clean

One of the most asked questions we receive is "are the nap pods clean?" The answer is yes! We understand that sanitation is a big concern given the recent pandemic which is why our check-in agents go in after each use and wipe down the surfaces with a disinfectant cleaner.

We have also partnered with UNC Charlotte's facilities management staff to create a checklist for the check-in agents to use when inspecting the pods. The facilities management team also comes into Atkins Library every night to do a deep cleaning of all 100 pods. We are thankful for their help as we try to keep Niner Nap Pods in tip top shape.
