Founded in 2022, Niner Nap Pods strives to provide a safe and quiet space for students to rest during the day while on the University of North Carolina at Charlotte’s campus. Located on the eighth floor of Atkins Library, Niner Nap Pods are part of the library’s mission to provide students with spaces, services and technologies to focus on their studies. Niner Nap Pods currently houses 100 nap pods monitored by a check-in agent and security cameras.
